Jeremiah 1:17-18
Humbly questioning or making excuses?
“I am only a child” – Jeremiah says in v.7
Jeremiah’s statement was that of a humble boy.
God’s answer: don’t say, ‘I am only a child.’ You must go to everyone I send you to and say whatever I command you. Do not be afraid for I am with you and will rescue you.
Jeremiah was to give a message to the people of Jerusalem
If Jeremiah was making an excuse, the story would end here.
What did Jeremiah do? What helped him?

Many times we all just need to listen to the Lord's encouragement. Just think how happier we would be and how much more willing and able we would be to do His will!!! Thanks for the encouraging message!
